Hotel Manager responsible for operational success at Melia Vinpearl Phu Ly in Vietnam. Leading a diverse team to maximize revenue, guest satisfaction, and brand compliance.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the planning, coordination, supervision and analysis of results of all the operational departments of the Hotel, guaranteeing its budgeted profitability and maximizing in-house revenues, ensuring compliance with Brand NPS and customer satisfaction.
Directly manage the Operating Committee, other employees and hotel customers, ensuring compliance with the policies and procedures of Meliá Hotels International, goals and objectives established by Hotel Operation and Hotel Services.
Work closely with the Cluster General Manager to actively manage key property matters including capital projects, service quality, and refurbishment plans.
Support the development and execution of meaningful, achievable budgets and both short-term and long-term strategic goals of the hotel.
Provide strong leadership to the Executive Committee and Heads of Department to ensure revenue, quality, staff satisfaction, and guest satisfaction targets are achieved and exceeded.
Plan, direct and coordinate service delivery across all operational departments to consistently surpass guest expectations and brand standards.
Ensure effective cost control across operational departments; regularly analyze performance results and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Drive continuous improvement through internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with brand and regional business initiatives.
Lead, coach and develop Heads of Department through objective setting, talent development, and succession planning.
Actively seek and respond to guest feedback to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and positive outcomes.
Conduct regular briefings and communication meetings with the HODs team to ensure clear alignment on operational goals.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or related fields.
Local experience is required.
Minimum 02 years’ experience in a similar position (or at least 02 years as Operations Manager within Melia Hotels International for internal candidates).
Strong knowledge of hotel operations and service standards.
Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
Strong commitment to service excellence and brand standards.
Fluent in English and Vietnamese (additional language is a plus).
High level of relationship-building, teamwork, and proactive mindset toward excellence.
