About the role
- Accountant responsible for preparing financial statements and ensuring compliance at meistro. Collaborating with auditors and finance teams while developing processes in a hybrid role.
Responsibilities
- Independently prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German Commercial Code).
- Ensure proper financial accounting (general ledger and sub-ledgers).
- Handle day-to-day operational tasks (provisions, accruals, account reconciliations).
- Serve as a point of contact for accounting and valuation matters.
- Actively develop processes, structures and internal controls.
- Support planning, forecasting and management reporting.
- Collaborate closely with auditors, tax advisors and internal departments.

Requirements
- You have completed training as a Bilanzbuchhalter or hold a comparable qualification.
- You bring at least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- You work independently, think strategically and tackle challenges with a hands-on mentality.
- You are strong in negotiation and communication.
- You have very good German and English skills.
- You are a team player and act as a pragmatic sparring partner for management and colleagues.
- You know how to share your knowledge and help develop your colleagues and environment.
