About the role

  • Area Sales Manager driving commercial growth for Anchor Pumps, specializing in water solutions in the South West UK market. Managing sales channels and delivering outstanding customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver revenue and margin targets across your designated region
  • Build and develop strong relationships with merchants, contractors, and partners
  • Influence product specification and secure agreements through technical consultation
  • Lead account reviews, pipeline development, and territory planning
  • Represent the business at key meetings, presentations, and industry events
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure best-in-class service delivery
  • Maintain accurate reporting and CRM updates across all account activity

Requirements

  • Experience in technical B2B sales, ideally within pumps and water supply infrastructure.
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • A consultative, relationship-driven sales approach
  • Ability to manage complex accounts and deliver sustainable value
  • High levels of self-motivation, initiative, and flexibility to travel regionally
