About the role

  • Infrastructure Specialist defining hybrid multicloud architecture, ensuring operational consistency and security for MDS. Collaborating with teams to improve productivity and implement automation in IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Define the company’s hybrid and multicloud infrastructure architecture across on-premises, Azure and AWS environments by creating technical standards, roadmaps, capacity analyses, evaluation of emerging technologies and alignment with industry best practices (ITIL, NIST, ISO 27001) to ensure a scalable, resilient operation that meets growth and innovation demands.
  • Establish and maintain standards, policies and procedures that ensure operational consistency and infrastructure security through architecture documentation, definition of technical baselines, configuration reviews, audit automation and integration with areas such as Security, DevOps and Compliance, in order to reduce risks, eliminate technical variations between environments and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as a technical reference for diagnosis, troubleshooting and resolution of high-complexity incidents, conducting root cause analyses, guiding internal teams, supporting N1/N2 support teams and defining definitive remediation plans to ensure business continuity, reduce operational impact and elevate the technical level of the infrastructure team.
  • Implement automations and Infrastructure as Code for provisioning, monitoring and governance of environments using tools such as PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, Azure DevOps, CloudWatch, Zabbix, Elastic Stack and cloud APIs to increase productivity, reduce human error, improve technical visibility and optimize cloud and datacenter costs (FinOps).
  • Support leadership in decision-making on investments, innovations, contracts, vendors and technology modernization cycles based on comparative analyses (cost x benefit x risk), proofs of concept, KPIs, SLAs and capacity planning practices to ensure IT resources are used efficiently, securely and aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Promote observability and a culture of continuous improvement in infrastructure operations through performance indicators, predictive analytics and executive reports that support technical and managerial decision-making.
  • Perform other related professional activities inherent to the role as needed and/or requested by the area, including through training, professional qualification and guidance from the immediate supervisor, to ensure continuous professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Analysis and Development or related fields;
  • Advanced English;

  • COBIT (Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies);
  • CI – Continuous Integration (process of automatically integrating and validating code changes);
  • CD – Continuous Delivery (or Deployment) - automates the delivery (and in some cases the deployment) of tested changes to staging or production environments;
  • Enterprise architecture and integration (between infrastructure, applications and security);
  • Information security fundamentals and best practices (including LGPD, ISO 27001 and NIST);
  • Container concepts and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes);
  • AWS Well-Architected Framework;
  • NIST basic functions: Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, Recover;
  • Auditing;
  • IT infrastructure (hybrid and multicloud): networking, servers, virtualization, storage, security and high availability;
  • Cloud architecture (Microsoft Azure and AWS);
  • Governance and compliance principles applied to corporate IT environments;
  • Concepts of resilience, scalability and availability applied to system architecture and critical infrastructure;
  • DRP (Disaster Recovery Plan);
  • BCP (Business Continuity Plan);
  • FinOps.
