About the role
- Director of Strategic Finance focusing on financial modeling and M&A evaluations in healthcare sector. Leading FP&A for sustainable operating profit growth at McKesson in Ohio or Texas.
Responsibilities
- Lead business case creation and financial modeling for new product development and strategic investments
- Develop valuation analyses for potential M&A activity
- Manage synergy analysis with cross-functional teams as new projects/deals arise
- Support financial planning, analysis, and reporting against business case commitments
- Prepare detailed presentations, financial analyses and strategic recommendations for Senior Leadership
- Foster and develop relationships with internal stakeholders across the McKesson enterprise and within CoverMyMeds
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or equivalent Finance roles, preferably in the healthcare industry
- 4+ years of supervisory and/or management experience
- Financial reporting knowledge including: income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow
- Ability to apply financial and strategic analysis to companies, primarily publicly-traded competitors and other companies of interest
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously with minimal direction
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with FP&A systems and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
