About the role

  • Junior Project Manager at MCI planning and overseeing creative live events for international clients. Collaborating with diverse teams to ensure successful project execution in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

  • As a Junior Project Manager (m/f/d), you plan and manage creative live experiences for national and international clients — from intimate gatherings to large-scale productions.
  • You take the lead in implementing creative event concepts, ensuring unique events and satisfied clients.
  • You build and maintain client relationships within your projects, provide tailored guidance and consulting, and lead project meetings.
  • You coordinate and manage all vendors involved in your events and plan the resources for your project teams.
  • You prepare cost estimates for new proposals, monitor your budgets and finalize project accounting — including reporting and documentation.
  • You continuously develop our live, online and hybrid formats and contribute to cross-team projects.

Requirements

  • Completed commercial apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
  • Ideally, initial professional experience in event management, including contract negotiations, pitches, budgeting, etc.
  • Confident communication skills in German and English (spoken and written)
  • Proficiency in common MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Team orientation, structured way of working, consulting, negotiation and problem-solving skills, and business acumen
  • Willingness to travel
