About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily trust account operations
  • Provide guidance to other departments, including Accounts Payable and Receivables
  • Perform clerical tasks associated with trust accounting
  • Prepare and distribute trust account cheques as required
  • Establish, redeem, and coordinate all trust account investments with banks, staff, and lawyers
  • Respond to information requests from staff, lawyers, and banks
  • File and scan all documents related to trust accounts

Requirements

  • Bilingual (French and English, spoken and written)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a trust or treasury department
  • College diploma in accounting
  • Basic accounting skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong accuracy
  • Experience working in the banking sector is an asset
