About the role

• Linux IT-Systemadministrator responsible for ensuring smooth operation of SaaS infrastructure at matelso GmbH. Collaborating with the team to maintain availability and performance of services.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth operation of the entire matelso infrastructure
• Monitor SaaS systems using central management tools (Zabbix, Grafana)
• Administer and configure server systems running Linux
• Basic knowledge of automation and orchestration of our processes on physical and virtual servers
• Support tasks in server operation and deployment, including trips to the data center
• Independently execute projects in the infrastructure and operations area
• Service-oriented and proactive collaboration with internal customers from development (DevOps)

Requirements

• Relevant completed degree or vocational training (e.g., IT specialist) with a focus on Linux IT administration
• Initial professional experience in supporting system landscapes
• Solid experience with Linux servers and Kubernetes/container environments
• Knowledge of network administration (routing & firewalls, VoIP, Cisco, MikroTik) is an advantage
• Very good German and English language skills are required
