About the role

  • Mortgage Administrator overseeing residential mortgage transactions at Manulife Bank. Collaborating with brokers and internal partners to streamline funding processes and support mortgage operations.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and administer new mortgage business and process the related financial transactions
  • Address routine queries from internal and external customers
  • Maintain control of all security/property documents
  • Ensure accuracy in preparing and processing all mortgage-related transactions
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve departmental goals
  • Assist with post funding execution of legal amendments required for the land title office

Requirements

  • General knowledge of residential mortgage business and mortgage underwriting practices
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs, such as Word and Excel
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
  • Proven organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Previous banking experience is an asset
