- identify and assess privacy and data security risks across the organization
- provide guidance and training staff on privacy and data protection
- participate in privacy incident management and collaborate with Privacy & Legal Counsel on legislative updates
- collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address privacy and data security issues
- maintain accurate records and documentation of all privacy and data incidents
- prepare and present privacy reports to senior management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Information Security, or a related field
- A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CIPP, CIPM, CISSP) is preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in data privacy, data protection, or information security roles
- Knowledge of Canada data privacy laws and regulations
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrated ability to lead manage projects and drive organizational change
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively
- Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset
