About the role

  • Social Media & Community Manager creating and managing content to enhance community engagement for a premium dog supplements brand. Focused on innovative strategies across social media platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Development and management of the editorial calendar across all social media channels — with clear goals for reach, engagement and brand perception.
  • Independent production and editing of content: video (Reels, TikToks, campaign clips), photo and graphics.
  • Early identification of trends and brand-relevant adaptation — not blindly copying trends, but translating them into the mammaly context.
  • Active building and nurturing of our community: comments, DMs, UGC integration and dialogue with our target audience.
  • Conceptualization and execution support for video campaigns with high engagement potential.
  • Interviews with our founding team and external guests to create authentic, compelling content.
  • Preparation, editorial work and editing of our podcast — including speaker coordination and quality assurance.
  • Regular performance analysis of content: reach, engagement rate, follower growth — with clear learnings and data-driven optimization of the strategy.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in social media and content creation — ideally in a D2C, FMCG or lifestyle environment.
  • Completed degree or vocational training in media, communication or marketing with relevant practical experience.
  • Deep understanding of major platforms — not just as a user, but with knowledge of algorithms, formats and best practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication in German (native or C2) and English (at least B2).
  • Independent, organized and results-oriented working style — combined with team spirit and strong communication skills.
  • Confident use of common tools for video editing, image editing and content planning.
  • A big heart for dogs and lots of motivation.
