About the role
- Data Analyst creating Power BI dashboards and manipulating data for decisions at MAG. Contributing to financial analysis projects and collaborating in a hybrid work setup.
Responsibilities
- Creation of Power BI dashboards;
- Data manipulation and analysis;
- Participation in projects to automate routines and reports;
- Participation in economic-financial feasibility analyses of projects and partnerships;
- Support in preparing the results budget;
- Various processes of cost/expense allocation and apportionment by product;
- Support in preparing reports in Portuguese and English.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or related area;
- Proficiency in Power BI (ETL and DAX language);
- Advanced Excel skills;
- Knowledge of or aptitude for learning programming languages;
- Basic understanding of Corporate Finance and Financial Statement Analysis;
- Availability for hybrid work, on-site 4 to 8 times per month in downtown Rio de Janeiro. If you are a MAG employee living outside Rio, work should take place at the nearest MAG unit to your residence with the same frequency.
- Knowledge of SQL, Python, or VBA is a plus;
- Accounting knowledge is a plus;
- Advanced English is a plus;
- Currently enrolled in a postgraduate program in Finance or a related field is a plus;
- Experience or knowledge of the insurance market is a plus.
