About the role

• Fullstack Developer focusing on backend development within an agile team at Macaw. Engaging in both frontend and backend development to enhance digital solutions using .NET and Azure technologies.

Responsibilities

• You contribute to the further development of our front- and backend systems within an agile team and play an active role in shaping our tech stack
• You take responsibility for planning, implementing and optimizing software architectures — with a focus on the .NET Framework and ASP.NET Core
• You participate in our developer community, perform code reviews and ensure our quality standards through test automation
• You support our CI/CD processes, including the creation of DevOps pipelines in Azure DevOps
• You ensure transparent collaboration through testing and documentation and pay attention to accessibility according to WCAG standards

Requirements

• You have formal training in computer science and/or several years of relevant professional experience in the web environment with .NET and C#
• You have experience with technologies such as Azure, ASP.NET, Docker, Sitecore, CSS, JavaScript and Git
• You have worked with frameworks like React, Next.js or Vue and understand frontend development with HTML/CSS
• You are passionate about new technologies, digitization and continuous improvement
• You place great value on code quality and actively promote test automation and thorough code reviews
• You are familiar with tools such as Jira and Confluence and work with them routinely
• You are proficient in CI/CD processes and use monitoring tools in Azure to ensure stable environments
• You know the WCAG guidelines or are willing to engage intensively with accessible development
• You have (initial) experience with headless CMSs like Sitecore or are willing to learn — we will support you
• You have very good German skills and good English skills, as we use both languages daily internally and externally as an international company.
