About the role

  • Marketing Specialist leading strategic initiatives for the B2B food service sector at M. Dias Branco. Focused on market analysis and actionable insights for sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the Business Unit (BU) marketing strategy, connecting market analysis, competitive opportunities and business priorities.
  • Identify and quantify growth opportunities by channel, segment, geography, category and application.
  • Continuously monitor category (flour, margarines, premixes, fats and doughs) and company performance, translating data into strategic actions.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of the market, competitors, trends and foodservice operators' behavior.
  • Generate and disseminate actionable insights from market data (IFB, Nielsen, Wise Sales), internal dashboards, sell-in/sell-out data and financial analyses.
  • Assess price elasticity, contribution and profitability of products and customers, proposing levers to accelerate the business.
  • Structure go-to-market and expansion strategies by channel, category and region.
  • Act as a strategic reference for the commercial team, supporting them with insights, guidance and strategic materials.
  • Map and prioritize industrial segments (bakery, biscuits, fresh pasta, food service, confectionery, etc.).
  • Measure the impact of initiatives and track market, performance and competitiveness KPIs.
  • Ensure governance, cadence and execution of the BU's strategic plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Actuarial Science, Engineering or related fields.
  • Completed postgraduate degree (MBA, specialization or equivalent).
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and BI tools.
  • Experience with strategic planning and market research analysis.
  • At least 6 months of experience in the area or related fields.
  • Business strategy.
  • Financial analysis (DRE [income statement], pricing).
  • IFB methodology, WISE SALES.
