About the role

  • Procurement Specialist executing procurement strategies in a new company focused on olefins & polyolefins. Collaborating on sourcing plans and supplier management for successful transitions across various locations.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for executing procurement strategies as defined by a Procurement Manager
  • Includes planning purchases and scheduling materials, services, and supplies
  • May include issuing tenders and requests for quotations and conducting final negotiations with vendors
  • Ensures accurate definition of requirements
  • Acts as the primary procurement contact for internal clients across multiple sites
  • Supports sourcing plans for low- and mid-value projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (or recognized equivalent)
  • 2+ years of related experience required with a degree; 6+ years' experience in lieu of a degree
  • 1–2 years of experience in the chemical, engineering, or a related industry is desirable
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP MM
  • Native French speaker
  • Business-fluent in Spanish and English
