About the role
- Cloud Automation Engineer at LUZA Group automating Azure cloud infrastructure provisioning and configuration. Involves designing IaC solutions and integrating CI/CD workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to automate the deployment of Azure resources.
- Develop and maintain reusable automation using Ansible whilst managing deployments with automate configuration management.
- Integrate automation workflows into CI/CD pipelines using Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (RHAAP) or GitHub Actions.
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and cost optimization best practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage tasks via Jira.
- Document infrastructure designs, automation processes, and operational procedures.
- Support the team in architecture validation and infrastructure analysis.
Requirements
- +3 years of experience in automating Azure infrastructure for data and analytics platforms.
- Strong proficiency and experience with Ansible for configuration management.
- Solid scripting skills in PowerShell and/or Python.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
- Familiarity with Azure networking, identity, monitoring, and security.
- Experience working in Agile teams and using Jira for task management.
- AZ-900 Certification is required.
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305, DP-600).
- Experience with monitoring and alerting automation (e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).
- Exposure to DataOps or DevOps for data platforms.
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a plus.
