About the role
- Business Analyst analyzing application landscapes and supporting migration planning for cloud projects in a dynamic environment. Collaborating with clients and teams to ensure successful application migration.
Responsibilities
- Work with client application owners to understand the application and its components
- Identify tightly-coupled applications and determine migration order for each application
- Gather all non-auto-discoverable data required to migrate/transform each application
- Contribute to application architecture deliverables
- Assess impact of application migration
- Strong client-facing communication skills
- Self-starter able to set direction in ambiguous environments
Requirements
- 5+ years work experience in IT roles
- Software Development experience is required (Web Development, eCommerce applications, Java, J2EE, or .Net)
- Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile or iterative methodologies required
- Work closely with multiple teams across geographies for continuous improvements
- Experience with Source control tools - GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, ADO
- Experience with JIRA issue tracking tool
- Ability to analyze applications and infrastructure for both application and server consolidation
- Must be able to interact with client application subject matter experts
- AWS or Azure or Google Cloud certified
- Fluent in Portuguese and English
