Responsibilities
- Fidelity Institutional (FI) is seeking a bold, energetic engineer who is passionate about building and scaling cloud-based automation and reporting platforms.
- Ensure that platforms run effectively and in compliance with corporate security guidelines and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with the FI Platform Engineering team and engage with a range of Platform & Service offerings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- 2 - 3 years of experience in Cloud development (AWS) skills;
- 4 - 6 Years of experience in software development with Python, NodeJS, or Java with a focus on SDLC and automation.
- Hands on experience working with containers (Kubernetes) and serverless applications (Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, S3).
- Working experience with Infrastructure as Code E.g. Terraform
- Experience with infrastructure automation and Observability tools E.g. Jenkins, DataDog.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins Core.
- Scripting ability in PowerShell or Bash Shell Unix Scripting.
- Knowledge of basic sysadmin skills in Linux, Networking, Load Balancing.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
