About the role

  • Join lunapark as a Trainee in Digital Marketing & Performance Advertising. Engage in data-driven online advertising strategies and collaborate on real client projects.

Responsibilities

  • Campaigns & Performance Marketing
  • Active participation in client projects (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads, and potentially Programmatic)
  • Setup and optimization of campaigns including targeting, creatives, budgets and KPIs
  • Analyzing data, deriving insights and preparing small reports
  • Strategy & development
  • Introduction to data-driven marketing and funnel strategies
  • Contributing to testing concepts, audience models and performance optimizations
  • Collaboration with the Ads team, SEO, Analytics and data tools & know-how
  • You will learn, among others: Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads; Google Analytics & Tag Manager; reporting tools (Looker Studio, Sheets/Excel); AI tools for research, optimization, content & QA; basics of Programmatic Advertising (DV360); client & project work
  • Participation in coordination / regular status meetings (Jour Fixes)
  • Preparation of presentations and learnings
  • Support in developing strategies and recommendations

Requirements

  • Strong interest in online marketing, performance and data
  • Enjoy working analytically and like logic as much as creativity
  • Find trends, tools and digital platforms exciting
  • Eager to understand advertising through data, audiences and strategies
  • Work in a structured way and willing to take responsibility
  • Communicative and able to bring a client-focused perspective
  • Ideally have initial experience from studies, internships or personal projects
  • Based in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) or willing to commute regularly to Cologne
