Responsibilities
Full responsibility for managing a portfolio of suppliers, including negotiating terms and handling escalation and process management
Independent order processing, including master data maintenance and delivery date management
Regular inventory monitoring and optimization of ordering processes within the ERP system
Handling inquiries, preparing quotations and producing price/comparison analyses
Systematic analyses for operational supplier management
Participation in the automation and improvement of purchasing processes
Acting as a liaison and communication interface between suppliers, logistics, sales, category management and purchasing
Requirements
Successfully completed commercial vocational training
Professional experience in purchasing, preferably within a trading/retail company
Good MS Office skills
Experience using ERP software
English skills are an advantage
Team player with strong communication skills
Strong negotiation skills
Quick comprehension and a passion for process improvement
