About the role
- Provide procurement support to project teams at Black & Veatch, managing contract processes and negotiations. Collaborate on project evaluations in various sectors including Energy and Environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the project team with complex procurement transaction activities
- Prepares contract documents and bidders list
- Prepares, issues and may manage the bidding process
- Leads and manages the evaluation process through the distribution of quotations
- Makes recommendations for selected bidder(s) and who to award
- Leads, schedules, coordinates and manages the negotiation process
- Manages the award and conforming process
- Able to resolve simple claim or dispute events with vendors
- Trains others in the function of a Procurement Representative
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years relevant experience
- BA or BS degree in Supply Chain, Business, Technical / Engineering, Construction Management or related field (preferred)
