About the role

  • Operations Manager leading content accuracy, consistency, and delivery performance at LSEG. Driving modernization and upskilling in Funds Content operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day‑to‑day operations for Funds Content, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, productivity, and quality targets are consistently met.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a hybrid team of Team Leaders and through structured performance enablement and continuous skills development.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training to build a strong, diverse, and capable team.
  • Introduce and embed modern tools, automation, and digital workflows within Funds Content operations.
  • Drive efficiency gains and waste reduction using Business Process Improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Product, and Data Strategy teams to implement new technology and ensure smooth operational adoption.
  • Champion technical upskilling across the team, including SQL, Python, data quality tooling, workflow automation, and new platform capabilities.
  • Act as the primary customer concern contact for internal and external client inquiries.
  • Build strong relationships with partners across LSEG: Product, Data Strategy, Sales & Account Management (SAM), Engineering, Service & Quality, and other Operations teams.
  • Drive alignment and share procedures across locations to support global consistency and operational excellence.
  • Communicate a clear operational vision, aligning teams to divisional objectives and key results.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, technical growth, and change readiness.
  • Promote diversity of talent, team mobility (“grow and flow”), and active engagement in cross‑functional initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in an operational or content‑focused environment.
  • Proven ability to manage teams and deliver against operational SLAs.
  • Demonstrated capability in solving complex business challenges.
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization.
  • Knowledge of Funds Content or related financial datasets is an advantage.
  • Experience delivering process improvements, automation initiatives, or digital transformations.
  • Strong communication and writing skills, including preparation of client‑facing documentation.
  • Customer‑facing experience beneficial.
  • Interest or experience in technical skill development (SQL, Python, workflow tools, automated QA).
  • Ability to lead teams through change in a fast‑evolving environment.
