About the role
- Vice President II – Network Engineering managing the strategy and operations of enterprise network infrastructure. Building and mentoring a skilled team while ensuring network availability and resiliency across multiple data centers.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, design, and operations of enterprise network infrastructure
- Build, lead, and mentor a team of 8–10 network engineers and managers
- Drive talent acquisition, career development, and succession planning
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and resource planning
- Define and execute the long-term network strategy, including modernization and automation initiatives
- Ensure high availability, resiliency, and security of network infrastructure
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of IT management experience; 10+ years in network engineering roles
- Hands-on experience with enterprise networking and data center management
- Expertise in Cisco networking portfolio and related technologies: Cisco ACI, SDA/DNAC, Catalyst & Nexus switches
- Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
- Meraki SD-WAN
- Infoblox DDI
- LiveNX, Telemetry, Gigamon
- Preference for experience with Infrastructure as Code and network automation
