About the role

  • ERP Program Manager managing Dynamics 365 projects for Long View's Calgary Branch. Overseeing multiple IT programs ensuring alignment of scope, schedule, and budget.

Responsibilities

  • Developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports, conducting risk analysis and monitoring the progress of plans against project milestones and budgets
  • Support enterprise and public sector clients with project planning and program management
  • Connect and guide the project team to minimize turn and down time
  • Analyzing and documenting requirements by liaising with a range of users in the organization
  • Leverage expertise to support the go live dates identified for the project
  • Support a team of the Dynamics team, Business Units, and vendors to deliver agreed upon objectives and measurements, on time and within budget
  • Collaborate with technology experts and clients to deliver agreed upon objectives and measurements, on time and within budget
  • Manage multiple and varied-technology client-facing projects simultaneously through the project life cycle ensuring constraints (cost, schedule, risk, quality, people) are effectively managed
  • Maintain anticipated Statements of Work (SOWs) and Statements of Requirements (SORs) margins and find opportunities to repurpose unspent budget to deliver additional value
  • Act as a consultant and trusted advisor, working closely with management, technical teams and stakeholders
  • Recommend or make critical decisions to steer project schedule
  • Perform Earned Value Analysis (EVA) or other analysis to validate progress to plan
  • Collaborate with clients to develop quality assurance processes and quality control activities
  • Actively facilitate efficient decision making with clients and internal teams to ensure project success
  • Support business justification development, contract negotiations and contract compliance
  • Provide oversight on project portfolios to achieve annual plans and metrics of success
  • Drive business rhythm across multiple teams to deliver commitments on time and at high quality
  • Facilitate program communications, identify and implement continuous improvement practices, and provide regular status reports as required
  • Implement change management routines to assess change requests, make recommendations, secure client approvals, and issue change orders
  • Assess change requests to determine impacts to scope, budget, schedule, quality and risk

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in a business analyst or project manager position with a focus on large scale enterprise project upgrades and/or implementations
  • Integrated ERP Deployment experience (ideally with Microsoft D365, AX or CRM)
  • Experience with Azure DevOps
  • Program Management with multiple lane / department delivery
  • Experience in a consulting environment or similar fast-paced industry
  • An analytical mind and creative problem-solving ability
  • Knowledge of change and problem management and ability to anticipate risks
  • Ability to build relationships and foster trust with stakeholders, project teams and project leaders
  • Strong team-oriented mindset with the proven ability to lead on complex IT projects
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to guide projects from conception to final implementation and measuring the results in a data driven manner
  • Certified Scrum Master and PMP is nice to have
