Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree completed in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of credit risk management and financial products.
  • Deep understanding of financial indicators, risk metrics, profitability, and portfolio sustainability.
  • Experience in defining credit policies and strategies.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in areas related to credit strategy, risk, analytics, financial planning, or related fields.
  • Experience in corporate environments, preferably in financial institutions or companies with structured credit operations.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis applied to credit management and statistical techniques.
  • Proficiency in Excel and at least one programming language (SQL, Python, R, etc.).
  • Familiarity with macroeconomic scenarios and financial sector regulations.

Requirements

  • Perform complex tasks autonomously, ensuring technical robustness and alignment with strategic guidelines.
  • Monitor day-to-day operations and critical indicators, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Participate in the implementation of predictive models (e.g., scoring, behavioral, profitability), seeking optimal applicability for credit strategies.
  • Formulate, review, and improve credit policies and operational guidelines, balancing risk and return and ensuring portfolio sustainability.
  • Conduct complex performance analyses and market scenario assessments, anticipating risks and proposing mitigation or optimization actions.
  • Lead strategic, cross-functional projects, disseminating analytical best practices and serving as a technical reference.
  • Represent the department technically in internal forums, positioning strategies and presenting evidence-based recommendations.
  • Support critical decisions through technical analyses and strategic recommendations.
  • Work collaboratively with business, risk, collections, technology, and finance teams to ensure institutional alignment.
  • Monitor market trends and regulatory changes, incorporating innovations into credit strategies.
  • Ensure efficient execution of the department's recurring activities.
