About the role
- Demand Planning Analyst developing statistical forecasting models for L'Occitane's products in a hybrid work environment. Collaborating with multiple departments to align demand strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and calibrate statistical demand-forecasting models using techniques such as time series, regressions, and machine learning algorithms;
- Perform model accuracy analyses for forecasts and propose continuous improvements;
- Integrate external variables (seasonality, promotions, launches, etc.) into demand modeling;
- Support strategic decision-making through robust quantitative analyses;
- Collaborate with areas such as Supply, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to align assumptions and demand strategies;
- Ensure data governance and the integrity of demand-planning tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related fields;
- Solid experience in demand planning;
- Advanced English is a plus;
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.);
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking;
- Good communication skills for presenting insights and influencing stakeholders.
