About the role

  • Senior Manager supporting Economic Crime Prevention across Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets. Responsible for operational oversight and compliance with ECP regulations in varied markets.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational ECP oversight across LBCM UK business areas – covering the ECP risk areas of fraud; anti-money laundering (AML); sanctions and anti-bribery.
  • Work closely with internal and external key customers across the LBCM business areas, and LBCM’s service partners to ensure ECP risks are effectively handled and mitigated.
  • Contribute to the delivery of a balanced and effective ECP control framework across LBCM which enables the business to achieve its objectives and strategic growth agenda in-line with risk appetite.
  • Report into the Chief Operating Officer.
  • Deliver pro-active ECP support and constructive challenge across LBCM UK through a variety of mechanisms including relationship management and the delivery of assurance and oversight activity of shared service controls.
  • Deputise for and support the LBCM COO and will be responsible for creating and maintaining key business relations with senior management, including LBCM Board members and service partners.

Requirements

  • In depth knowledge of current and emerging ECP regulatory requirements and an understanding of best practice risk management and control frameworks.
  • Experience in markets products, such as FX, interest rates and bonds.
  • Experienced leader and manager with a track-record in prioritising and delivering competing demands.
  • Excellent customer management skills with the ability to exercise tact, influence and communicate at senior levels.
  • Strong analysis and investigative skills.
  • Excellent organisational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experienced in identifying and championing transformation - to deliver continuous improvement to systems and processes.
