About the role

  • Client Import Analyst role supporting the client service teams in daily customs process management. Ensuring compliance and maintaining client relationships while meeting quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Act as primary support for the client service teams/operations
  • Ensure quality standards are met and maintain integrity of client records
  • Facilitate release and entry summary completion
  • Build and maintain excellent direct working relationship with client/carriers
  • Create and proactively maintain the client tariff database
  • Verify documentation for release conditions and compliance
  • Conduct documented internal audit
  • Proactively coordinate and implement electronic data relationships

Requirements

  • 3 years of related experience
  • High School/GED or equivalent
  • Working towards/or successful completion of the Certified Customs Specialists (CCS) designation with the Canadian Society of Customs Brokers (CSCB) or the National Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association of America (NCBFAA) is a requirement, if not already obtained.
  • Successful completion of the CCS examination is a mandatory requirement for further advancement.
