About the role
- Analyst, Planning responsible for promoting work orders and managing materials in a manufacturing environment at TRIUMPH. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure production planning requirements are met.
Responsibilities
- Promote work orders from MRP system to ensure timely release and completion of components in line with production planning requirements
- Review and Process required MRP exception messages
- Maintain schedule, perform risk analysis, identify and resolve critical path issues and network logic conflicts.
- Implement and maintain Kanban processes
- Collaborate with Program Management and Contracts to understand demand forecast drivers
- Provide input in developing departmental strategies for inventory on existing items, new product introduction and phase outs
- Perform related inventory transactions into ERP system
- Work with demand forecasting, incorporating current and accurate information
- Execute excellence around stock and demand replenishment providing feedback to the supply chain on risks regarding replenishment levels and demand.
- Plans and manages material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production.
- Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting performance against baseline schedules to ensure that contractual cost and schedule objectives are met.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Materials Management, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of directly related experience in a planning/scheduling role within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast -paced environment with strong attention to detail.
- MRP Experience a MUST.
- Intermediate level of Microsoft Office competencies.
- Experience in statistical reporting, forecasting, and understanding of financial and operational impacts of forecasting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Problem-solving under constraints
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams.
