About the role
- Cloud Engineer supporting implementation and migration of cloud architectures like AWS, Azure, and GCP. Focusing on infrastructure as code and CI/CD automation in a hybrid role.
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of cloud architectures and the migration of existing on‑premises architectures to AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) deployments using Terraform or Pulumi
- Implement and automate CI/CD pipelines based on GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.
- Perform cloud cost engineering for system landscapes
- Support our clients with their cloud migration and application modernization
- Produce relevant content for clients and interested parties about our field of work (e.g., technical articles, blog posts, conference presentations)
Requirements
- You hold a university degree in (business) computer science, (business) mathematics, physics, or a related field
- You are comfortable working with cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP); certifications are a plus
- You have initial experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Pulumi
- Understanding of agile methodologies and the DevOps philosophy; knowledge of CI/CD pipeline automation is an advantage
- Concepts, tools, or frameworks such as OpenShift, Mesos, Nomad, microservices, cloud-native architectures, and self-contained systems are familiar to you
- You have excellent communication skills in English and German and are willing to travel domestically on occasion.
