About the role

  • Steuerberater – Manager overseeing client mandates and guiding teams at Linn Goppold. Engage in tax advisory for SMEs and international clients within a supportive team atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage a defined portfolio of clients in tax advisory and financial statements
  • Provide tax structuring and advisory services for mid-sized companies and international clients
  • Optional: Take on technical leadership of a committed team – acting as contact person and mentor
  • Review tax assessments and negotiate with tax authorities
  • Support during tax audits and administrative appeal procedures
  • Train and develop junior colleagues (e.g., tax assistants, audit assistants)
  • Participate in special projects, e.g., due diligence reviews, corporate restructurings, or digitalization initiatives
  • Regular collaboration with our HLB network partners – both nationally and internationally

Requirements

  • You have successfully passed the tax advisor examination
  • Ideally around 4–5 years of professional experience in tax advisory, preferably in a mid-sized firm (leadership experience welcome)
  • Enjoy leading teams and developing employees
  • Client-oriented with a strong interest in commercial/business thinking
  • Strong DATEV knowledge and an interest in digitalization and automation
  • Confident user of MS Office
  • Analytical thinking and an eye for detail
  • Team spirit, empathy, strong communication skills, and initiative
  • You are interested in AI and digitalization and want to actively contribute to the further development of digital processes
