About the role

  • Key Account Manager for Vizzia, focusing on growing client portfolio through upselling and renewals in the tech sector. Collaborating with account managers to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities

  • The role's objective will be to ensure commercial performance across your entire portfolio, working closely with Customer Success Managers (CSMs), with the following goals:
  • Renewals: Ensure at least a 90% renewal rate for the portfolio.
  • Upsell and cross-sell: Increase portfolio value by 20%, i.e. by €600K.
  • Define and execute a commercial strategy across the assigned portfolio: prioritization, segmentation, and a high-touch approach for key accounts (municipalities with >60k inhabitants).
  • Build and maintain account plans for key accounts (mapping, objectives, risks, opportunities).
  • Contribute to defining Account Management processes in collaboration with the future Head of KAM.
  • Co-lead business reviews for strategic accounts with CSMs to provide a strategic and commercial perspective to the discussions.
  • Work closely with CSMs to anticipate renewals at least 4 months in advance, build trust with clients, and close renewals as well as potential upsells and cross-sells.
  • Identify and act on upsell opportunities for municipalities classified as “SMB” on a more ad-hoc basis, outside of regular account coverage.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Strategic Account Manager or Enterprise Account Executive selling a SaaS product in complex, long sales cycles.
  • Driver's license (Category B): the role requires travel a few days per month (≈2 days/month on average) to meet clients.
  • Energy & interpersonal skills: dynamic, structured, and able to adapt to any type of interlocutor to quickly build rapport.
  • Team spirit & care: ability to rally and engage internal teams and be solution-oriented.
  • Strategic perspective: able to engage high-level stakeholders (mayor, DGS — chief administrative officer, etc.) in strategic discussions for their municipality.
  • Rigour and organization: able to manage long-term account support and sales, involving the right people at the right time; able to speed up the pace when it's time to close.
  • Hands-on: willing to roll up your sleeves and go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Experience selling to local authorities/municipalities or selling a LegalTech product is a plus.
