Responsibilities

  • Change lives through education as you motivate students to achieve academic excellence.
  • Provide direct instruction using an accelerated, back-to-basics curriculum including Spalding (reading & writing) and enVision Math.
  • Conduct psycho-educational evaluations and lead the multidisciplinary team in the process of identifying students as eligible for and in need of special education services.
  • Connect and work one-on-one with students needing special support to understand both their capabilities and disabilities.
  • Provide speech and language therapy services and specialized support that helps students improve their communication and learning skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • A current teaching certificate.
  • The incumbent in this position will be required to pass a criminal history background check.
  • Master’s or higher degree.
  • School Psychologist Certification.
  • A current K-12 Special Education Mild/Moderate OR Special Education Moderate/Severe teaching certificate within the state the position is located.
  • A current Speech Language Pathologist certification.
