About the role
- Senior Payroll Specialist in Swiss chocolate manufacturer Läderach managing payroll, handling HR tasks, and optimizing processes. Collaborating with team to ensure smooth payroll operations.
Responsibilities
- You, together with a colleague in our HR team, are responsible for the smooth execution of the monthly payroll runs (hourly and salaried payrolls)
- You independently process all payroll-related changes, such as hires and terminations, social insurance matters, withholding tax accounting and pension fund issues
- You manage accident and sick leave absences and perform EO (income compensation) registrations
- You act as the contact person for internal and external stakeholders as well as for authorities and government offices
- You regularly prepare payroll-related analyses such as reports, statistics and payroll statements and analyze them
- You are responsible for year-end tasks and coordinate reconciliations with the accounting department
- You share responsibility for the continuous development and optimization of existing payroll processes
Requirements
- You have a completed qualification in payroll administration or social insurance
- You have 3–5 years of professional experience in payroll processing
- You have solid knowledge of SAP and Excel; experience with SuccessFactors is an advantage
- You are business fluent in German and have good English skills; French is a plus
- You are characterized by a precise and responsible way of working and enjoy working in a team
