About the role
- Sr. Specialist in Supply Chain Management ensuring compliance with government contracts for aerospace. Overseeing internal audits and providing training to procurement staff on compliance.
Responsibilities
- Developing, implementing, and administering supply chain programs, tools, and processes.
- Supporting Contractor Purchasing System Reviews (CPSR) to ensure compliance with government contract requirements.
- Conducting internal audits and developing corrective action plans.
- Preparing customer flow down documents and working with Legal counsel to communicate terms and conditions.
- Ensuring compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and relevant regulations.
- Providing training and guidance to procurement staff on compliance-related matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant Contract Compliance experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related Contract Compliance experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related Contract Compliance experience.
- Strong knowledge of government contract and procurement principles contained in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
- Good analytical skills and comfortable using Microsoft Office for developing analysis tools.
- Strong personal commitment to ethics and integrity in all tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- ERP Systems in a manufacturing environment such as Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS) purchasing modules.
