About the role

  • Operations Project Manager overseeing capacity improvement projects and transitions within L3Harris. Responsible for managing project schedules, budgets, and cross-functional collaboration across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing capacity improvement and transition projects across multiple L3Harris sites
  • Oversee capacity improvement projects across functions and sites
  • Create and execute project schedules and budgets
  • Manage transfer projects including knowledge transfer, process handovers, and transition planning
  • Report to senior leadership on business performance
  • Identify and validate needed capital investment to support business need
  • Facilitate cross-functional team formation
  • Up to 10% business travel within the continental U.S.
  • Ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience
  • Graduate Degree with a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
  • In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 15 years of prior related experience
  • 3+ years' experience with Program/Project Management
  • Advanced business knowledge
  • Earned value or cost account manager experience
  • Experience with Capital Management and/or Budget Management during planning phases
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing and aerospace industry experience is highly desirable
  • Previous experience with EAR and ITAR
