About the role

  • Project Coordinator aiding the Evidence Exchange initiative to enhance public policy through research collaboration. Involves logistics, program design, and cross-institutional teamwork in Edinburgh.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute significantly to the successful development and delivery of the Evidence Exchange (EvEX).
  • Help design initiatives, develop programme content and implement activities.
  • Make logistical arrangements for the programme in Scotland.
  • Work within a small team at Edinburgh, coordinating with counterparts at University of Cambridge and other universities.

Requirements

  • Excellent understanding of the U research-policy interface and a genuine interest in public policy.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels of seniority.
  • Experience of conducting desk based research, with ability to digest complex information and utilise this for programme delivery.
  • Ability to do accurate record keeping for reporting and conduct evaluation and monitoring activities.
