Responsibilities
Develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified, sensitive, or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment
Research and implement federal security regulations
Maintain knowledge and awareness of interdisciplinary compliance requirements
Prepare manuals outlining regulations, and establish procedures for handling, storing, retaining records, and accessing restricted records
Conduct security education, training, and security audits
Investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive action
Communicate with leadership regarding matters of importance to the function or business area
Lead and direct experienced professionals
Establish short-term operational plans with measurable contributions to function or business area results
Requirements
Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience; or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience; or in lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
Completion of an accredited/approved FSO course; other professional accreditations and certifications preferred
Able to interface effectively with all levels of corporate management and government customers
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Experience using security management software and applications
Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities and time sensitive deliverables
Hands on, self-starting, disciplined and detail-oriented individual with ability to work independently in a high-volume environment
Experience implementing NISPOM requirements and ICD 705 Standards
Oral and written communication skills and the ability to effectively manage a security team to deliver the highest-quality customer service.
