About the role
- Industrial Operations Director at KYOCERA AVX determining operational strategy for optimizing revenues and satisfaction across production sites in France and Czech Republic.
Responsibilities
- In agreement with senior management, you define and implement the company’s operational strategy to optimize revenues, margins and customer satisfaction for the two production sites in France and the Czech Republic.
- You oversee the activities of multiple departments: production, planning/procurement, methods, maintenance, industrial infrastructure and shipping.
- You report to the Chief Executive Officer and are a member of the Executive Team.
- Ensure the application of safety, quality and environmental rules and standards in compliance with applicable regulations and norms.
- Manage relationships with customer service and commercial partners. Validate order scheduling with the support of the planning/procurement manager.
- Optimize the allocation of workload between the two production sites in France and the Czech Republic.
- Prepare workload and billing forecasts.
- Improve industrial performance in terms of health, safety, quality and productivity with the support of your team (methods, maintenance, production, etc.). Propose and lead continuous improvement projects.
- Improve production processes to increase efficiency and profitability.
- Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate operational performance.
- Manage the industrial budget and define and oversee industrial investments.
- Manage human resources and supervise staff development.
- Participate in meetings and negotiations with employee representative bodies.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (Bac +5), such as an engineering degree
- Over 10 years’ experience in an industrial environment
- More than 5 years’ experience managing multidisciplinary teams
- Strong knowledge of production flow management
- Proficiency with commercial and industrial management tools (ERP, etc.)
- Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards (quality, hygiene, safety, environment and health)
- Proficiency in English
