About the role

  • DCOO responsible for operational vision and business strategy at The Task Force for Global Health. Leading initiatives for organizational efficiency and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide business and operational support to the organization and its programs
  • Act as acting COO in the absence of the COO
  • Work with the COO to define and implement operational vision and business strategy
  • Develop organizational objectives that align with business strategy
  • Oversee Duty of Care responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance across project/program’s portfolio
  • Participate in projects, activities, and initiatives as requested by management
  • Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency

Requirements

  • Master's degree in public health, social sciences, public administration, or a related field
  • Ten years of related experience
  • Seven years at a management level
  • 10 years of program management experience in international public health
  • 2-5 years overseeing global safety and security in an NGO setting
  • Proven ability to manage large budgets and donor-funded programs
  • Strong grant management experience
  • Demonstrated success in business development
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
