About the role

  • Infrastructure Specialist involved in analyzing problems, offering solutions, and managing IT infrastructure projects. Project-based role requiring technical proficiency and collaboration with various teams in the IT industry.

Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Specialists at Kyndryl are project-based subject matter experts in all things infrastructure – good at providing analysis, documenting and diagraming work for hand-off, offering timely solutions, and generally “figuring it out.”
  • Contributing to current projects where you analyze problems and tech issues, offer solutions, and test, modify, automate, and integrate systems.
  • Long-range strategic planning of IT infrastructure and operational execution.
  • Deal with both client expectations and internal challenges.
  • Enjoy deep involvement throughout the lifespan of a project, and work closely with Architects, Technicians, and PMs.

Requirements

  • Over 5 years' experience with bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English.
  • Experience in the IT industry with a focus on Mainframe knowledge on JCL, zOS
  • Experience working with Japanese clients.
  • Excellent in Japanese skills both translation and interpretation
  • Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) level should be N1/N2
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot systems.
  • Expected to do the work according to SOP’s (In Japanese).
  • Proven hands-on experience in SCRUM or Project Management.
  • Familiar with a variety of IT concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
  • Logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
