About the role
- Mobile Crisis Clinician providing essential psychiatric services to youth and families in emergency situations. Coordinate care with emergency services staff while providing evaluations and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct emergency psychiatric clinical services to youth and their families
- Coordinate and consult with other care providers
- Provide prescreening evaluations for information
- Communicate ongoing needs of youth and families back to the emergency services team
- Coordinate follow-up with other staff members
- Provide direct mobile and on-site psychiatric clinical services
- Evaluate clients and develop treatment plans
- Assess crisis or emergency situations and intervene immediately
- Prepare written/computer cases recording documents within prescribed time limits
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology or other relevant Medicaid reimbursable clinical specialty required
- Valid independent clinical license (LICSW/LMHC) preferred
- Spanish/Brazilian Portuguese language required
- Minimum one (1) year in a psychiatric emergency service or similar setting required
- Must have access to a car and possess a valid driver's license
