About the role
- Global Product Manager developing and managing product strategy for beans and red beet in an international seed company. Collaborating with teams across Europe and the US while ensuring market alignment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and steer the portfolio in line with the crop strategy
- Develop overarching crop strategy with Strategic Crop Teams
- Coordinate with Breeding and Sales on product specifications
- Design and organize global trial plan and evaluate trials
- Market intelligence and competitor analysis
- Monitor margin development and advise on value-based pricing
- Extensive travel throughout Europe and the United States (60-70% of time)
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or similar fields
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the international seed industry, particularly within vegetable seeds
- Commercially driven and results-oriented with strong self-organization and proactive management skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English; additional language(s) are an advantage
- Ability to work with different cultures
- Strong analytical ability to evaluate data and market trends
