About the role
- Demand Planner Retail optimizing stock levels and sales forecasts at Kusmi Tea. Working closely with retail, marketing, and supply chain teams to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Directly contribute to the commercial performance of the retail network by improving the reliability of sales forecasts and optimizing stock levels
- Develop sales forecasts (product launches, promotional campaigns, in-store events and baseline shelf inventory) and analyze performance
- Define, monitor and adjust replenishment thresholds across the network to ensure product availability while controlling inventory
- Monitor stockouts in warehouses and stores, analyze their business impact, alert stakeholders and recommend corrective actions
- Manage store inventories and ensure the accuracy of stock data
- Serve as the key retail contact for stock, flow and best-practice topics
- Contribute to continuous process improvement and participate in tool evolution projects as the business subject-matter expert
Requirements
- Higher education degree (business school, engineering, supply chain or equivalent)
- Experience in demand planning, sales forecasting, supply chain or retail performance management
- Strong proficiency in Excel and a strong interest in data analysis
- Business-oriented mindset with an understanding of revenue drivers
- Project management experience, ideally related to tools or IT systems environments
- Rigour, a structured approach and the ability to handle both analytical and operational responsibilities
- Strong interpersonal skills and a preference for cross-functional and field-based work
