About the role
- As a Senior PLM Consultant, you'll lead PLM transformation projects for top-tier clients in Germany. Acting as a trusted advisor through PLM system implementation.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end PLM implementation and upgrade projects
- Analyze current product development processes and translate business requirements into PLM solutions
- Define client-specific PLM solution architectures
- Oversee configuration and customization of PLM software
- Supervise and support PLM data migration activities
- Collaborate with client teams to facilitate user adoption of new PLM solutions
- Mentor junior consultants and coordinate cross-functional teams
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in PLM consulting, solution architecture, or implementation
- Deep functional and technical knowledge of one or more major PLM systems, primarily PTC Windchill and others like Siemens Teamcenter and Oracle Agile
- Strong understanding of product development and engineering processes
- Hands-on experience integrating PLM with other enterprise systems including ERP
- Familiarity with Agile project delivery and tools like JIRA, Confluence is a plus
- Vendor or industry certifications are advantageous such as PTC Certified Professional (Windchill) or Siemens Teamcenter certifications
