About the role

  • Commercial Sales & Marketing Manager enhancing profitability and market share for a leading B2B cruise platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design sales strategies and marketing initiatives in Hamburg.

Responsibilities

  • Actively contribute to shaping the overall commercial strategy in collaboration with the CCO.
  • Work closely with the CCO and the Marketing team to implement the overall commercial strategy.
  • Identify and leverage competitive advantages to optimize our margins, occupancy, and go-to-market concepts.
  • Plan and manage sales and marketing strategies across the entire product portfolio based on key performance metrics.
  • Responsible for audience-targeted implementation of cruise line initiatives.
  • Ensure attractive terms and the best possible rates with our cruise line and key account partners.
  • Increase B2B revenues in close cooperation with our cruise line and key account partners.
  • Analyze market, competitor, and demand trends to identify growth and revenue potential.
  • Develop and execute trade marketing and campaign strategies.
  • Monitor, analyze, and evaluate the performance of cruise line campaigns across all marketing and sales channels, and derive recommendations for optimization.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships and engage in active networking.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing & Sales, Tourism Management, or a related field.
  • Some professional experience in a commercial role (e.g., Commercial, Sales, Revenue Management, or Business Development).
  • Proficient with MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and common analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Looker, or similar).
  • Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
  • Ideally experience with CRM or revenue management systems, or solid cruise industry knowledge.
  • Strong numerical affinity and analytical skills with strategic thinking and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, confident stakeholder management, and strong negotiation abilities.
  • Assertiveness and decisiveness are also among your strengths.
  • Resilience, flexibility, and willingness to travel.
