About the role

Responsibilities
- Create control, drive and safety concepts for production machines and prepare their documentation
- Develop electrical designs for bespoke solutions in EPLAN, e.g., circuit diagrams, parts lists and layout/schematic plans
- Provide project support during assembly and commissioning, including technical coordination with adjacent departments
- Troubleshoot, optimize and perform retrofits on existing machines
- Develop technical concepts
- Prepare cost estimates and machine documentation including risk assessments
Requirements
- Successfully completed vocational training with a focus on electronics, e.g., Mechatronics Technician or Electronics Technician (m/f/d)
- Solid technical knowledge based on further training as a technician (m/f/d) or a completed degree, e.g., in Automation Engineering, required
- Good knowledge of EPLAN P8
- Initial experience with SISTEMA is an advantage
- Strong understanding of functional safety for machine control systems
- Basic knowledge of drive technology as well as project engineering, programming and commissioning of machines
