About the role
- Electronics Engineer designing electrical schematics and documentation for industrial communication systems in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Providing expertise in compliance with technical standards.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical schematics, circuit diagrams, and parts and cable lists for radio communication systems and devices, ensuring compliance with company guidelines, DIN VDE standards, and applicable legal regulations.
- Create electrical plans using Zuken E3.cable and ensure their implementation in accordance with standards.
- Select appropriate cables, connectors, and other electrical components suitable for the application.
- Maintain the underlying database within Zuken E3.cable and keep it continuously updated.
- Prepare complete technical documentation for your projects.
- Prepare technical changes, implement them, and document all modifications in a traceable manner.
- Coordinate closely with adjacent departments and collaborate constructively within the project team.
Requirements
- Completed training as an Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems, Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Technician, Technical System Planner for Electrical Systems, or a comparable recognized qualification in electrical engineering (m/f/d).
- Ideally completed further training as a state-certified technician (m/f/d) specializing in electrical engineering.
- Solid knowledge of cables and connector systems as well as relevant technical regulations.
- Proficiency in a common electrical wiring software tool, preferably Zuken E3.cable.
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style.
- Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new technical systems and devices.
- Strong team skills and willingness to cooperate across departments.
- Good written and spoken English for communication in an international environment.
- Knowledge of the E3 API programming with Visual Basic is desirable.
- Experience using Zuken E3.cable, MS Office, Visio, DOORS, SAP, and Autodesk Vault Professional.
