About the role
- As a Working Student, manage IT asset repositories and assist with compliance reporting for Knauf, a global building materials manufacturer.
Responsibilities
- Manage and enrich IT asset repositories, where you assist with ownership, lifecycle and compliance metadata, and communicate updates within the department and Group IT
- Support weekly and monthly IT audit reporting and follow up with action owners to ensure timely completion
- Assist with the rollout of user access reviews, where you support tracking and reporting of completion rates
- Support the maintenance of data in project management tools and ensure regular status reports and time bookings are submitted
- Assist with deliverables tracking and reporting, documenting scalable and consistent processes, and preparing decision logs and meeting notes for reviews and governance forums.
Requirements
- Enrolled bachelor’s or master’s student in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business/ Management or a related field
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, comfortable managing data quality and metadata in repositories and trackers
- Ideally, you already have hands‑on experience with ServiceNow and Jira
- Clear and confident communicator in English, optimally also German, able to collaborate across teams and follow up on actions diplomatically
- A proactive team player who enjoys a diverse, international environment, works independently, and confidently uses M365 (PowerPoint, Excel, Teams).
