About the role

Responsibilities
- Provide primary responsibility for DPRIT-related grant operations, financial planning, and comprehensive pre- and post-award management.
- Establish and coordinate all aspects of DPRIT grant operating procedures.
- Support management of DPRIT by working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Execute grant management activities including deadlines, risk management, and fiscal operations.
- Assist in the negotiation of research contracts.
- Develop and maintain documents for the grant application process.
- Ensure compliance with federal and local regulations.
- Maintain communication with the investigative team.
- Provide staff training and oversight of research.
Requirements
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well independently with faculty and staff with minimal supervision.
- Possess strong skills for multitasking, meeting competing deadlines, prioritizing and supporting the investigator team.
- Strong ethics and professionalism.
- Bachelor's Degree is required; Master's degree is preferred.
- Seven (7) years experience in research or related administration is required, or five (5) years experience with a Master's degree is preferred.
